Hello and welcome! I am Maxwell Morgan and this is my portfolio.
I am a Web Developer based out of Warwick, RI, specializing in responsive and flexible WordPress Theme development. Using the most widely accepted coding standards of the web, I pride myself of writing clean and flexible code. I have also done some work with jQuery Plugin development and Google Chrome Plugin development, as well as actively learning Angular.js.
For just over 5 years, I worked at a company in Warwick called Astonish where I served as a front end developer building new themes and maintaining client sites. I now work at an awesome company located in Pawtucket called Linchpin, as a front end developer collaborating with other devs and designers to deliver high quality websites. Most of my work outside of Astonish and Linchpin has been experimenting with new coding languages and improving those languages to create flexible and reusable scripts.
Dottie's Nantuckets is currently in development
Dottie, my mother, is a very talented and driven person. Dottie's Nantuckets is currently in development, but will serve as a place to show off her handmade Nantucket style baskets.
Design is rare in my day-to-day workflow, but Dottie's Nantuckets will shine as my first site from design to developement in quite some time. Dottie's Nantuckets is a custom, responsive, WordPress theme, built in with a custom post-type for the slider that can easily transform from a full width slider to a bucket slider.
Designed by Mike Berry, Kingdom of Daulin is a mock website for portfolio use.
Kingdom of Daulin is a single-page site, with a layer heavy design. KOD features some simple jQuery functions to display pop-up forms to log-in and sign-up and some simple slide toggle functionality.

When I'm experimenting with something new I usually start on CodePen for the live updating and the ease of sharing/tweaking. It has become quite useful in my daily workflow, and holds a lot of my new experiments with pure CSS Pens and SASS Mixins.
